PRODUCTION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR JOINT RUBBER

A production method for joint rubber, characterized by comprising an end face shaping step of performing shaping so that one end face of a sheet-form unvulcanized rubber member can abut against the other end face thereof, and an end face joining step of letting the one end face abut against the other end face and joining them together. In the end face shaping step, shaping is performed so that one end face of the sheet-form unvulcanized rubber member can abut against the other end face. In the end face joining step, the one end face is allowed to abut against the other end face for joining them. Accordingly, the joint rubber is obtained through efficient joining , is free from a clearance between the joining faces, and ensures a high dimension accuracy and a sufficient joint strength.
