PURPOSE: A finishing method and a finishing device of a surface of textile are provided which are characterized by forming various patterns regardless of a kind of textile, increasing the expected life span of products, preventing loss of grey yarn, increasing productivity and reducing production cost. CONSTITUTION: The finishing method of the surface of textile is as follows: supplying textile at 10-15yd/min. of speed in the expanded condition; steaming textile with 100-120deg.C of temperature first; pressing-contacting with the outside of a pattern drum by a pressing roller, and transferring; a brush roller contacted-installed on the inside of the pattern drum perforated a pattern part; steaming textile exposed to the pattern part second, and brushing to form a pattern simultaneously; and passing the formed pattern through 150-180deg.C of a heater box to fix. The finishing device consists of: guide rollers(9a-9g) and expanding rollers(8a-8d) supplying textile in the expanded condition consecutively; a steam roller(2) which is installed on a reinforcing beam(13) of a frame(1), steaming supplied textile first; the pattern drum(3) which is installed at the rear of the steam roller(2), containing the pattern part perforated on a cylindrical metal plate and driven gears on both sides of the cylindrical metal plate; the first, the second and the third supporting-driving rollers(4A,4B,4C) containing a driving gear corresponding to the driven gear and a guiding roller which is set in the center thereof, guiding textile; the pressing roller(5) pressing and contacting textile and the bottom of the pattern drum(3); the heater box(7) which is installed at the rear of the frame(1), steaming secondly and brushing to fix the formed pattern; and motors(10A,10B) reciprocal-driving each device selectively and consecutively.
