PURPOSE: A plasma display panel(PDP) and an addressing method thereof are provided, which make a uniform discharge on a whole screen by reducing an address period. CONSTITUTION: The plasma display panel comprises cells arranged in a matrix form. Each cell comprises the first and the second sustain electrode line arranged in a line by being formed along a row direction on the first substrate(36), and the first and the second address electrode line arranged in a line by being formed along a column direction on the second substrate(38). An insulation material pattern(52) is formed on an upper part of one of the first and the second address electrode line, and a barrier rib(40) prepares a discharge space where a discharge gas is filled, together with the first and the second substrate.
