Flue gas (1), especially flue gas from a steam generator, has to be cleaned by law. A catalyst (8) for removing the nitrogen from the flue gas (1) is often used for this purpose, said flue gas e.g. heating an air pre-heater (15). The reducing agent residue reacts with the unreacted sulphur oxide and forms a substance that can damage the air pre-heater (15). According to the invention, a first mixer (10, 12) is provided for preventing this reaction from taking place. Said mixer is positioned behind the catalyst (8) in the direction of the flow and ensures that the flue gas (1) is mixed evenly with the reducing agent. |
