The system detects hazard situations, processes them and feeds them to a central station for evaluation. The detected hazard states are immediately transmitted from a master unit over the TV and radio cable network to a main server outside the monitoring area and temporarily stored there. Stored hazard states can be cancelled within a defined period and if this period is exceeded an alarm message is transmitted to the central station.
