<p>The invention concerns a method for protecting users of sanitary ware against biological contamination by contact, which consists in painting said items with an anti-contaminating coating composition comprising a biocidal agent including at least a compound with essentially bactericidal activity, in a proportion ranging between 0.3 and 6 wt. %, preferably between 0.5 and 5 wt. %, relative to the coating composition total weight. The invention is characterised in that the bactericidal agent contains at least a compound of the isothiazole family combined with a aryloxy-alcohol, preferably with a fungicidal compound such as alkylated derivatives of isothiazolinone and/or derivatives of benzimidazole or of iodo-propynyl with carbamate function.</p> |
