PURPOSE: A process for preparing a directional electric steel sheet having a high magnetic flux density is provided by applying specified components proper to heat low temperature slab and conducting stabilization of secondary recrystallization. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises: preparing a silicon steel slab containing Al, N, Cu, Ni, Cr as typical components possible to conduct low-temperature slab heating at 1200-1320deg.C; cold-rolling the slab to increase assembled texture of a first recrystallization; pre-annealing to form coarse texture of hot rolled sheet; after a final cold-rolling, conducting heat-treatment to obtain a regulated microfine structure having 30-60 micrometer; and, at the same time, nitriding the heat-treated material in a range dependent on the final cold-rolling rate to generate deposits and to control growth of particles even at a high temperature.
