The device is for a clutch having a friction disc (12) moving axially by a pressure plate (34), a control (36,38,48,50) pressed by clutch members and declutching members on the pressure plate and having a member (48) displaceable on a reciprocating course corresponding to clutching course and declutching course, and members (44,46) for detecting the position of the displaceable member (48). The detection members have two elements formed a position sensor (44) and an index (46) and one of which is mounted on the automatic position regulation members (56), which are displaced during translation w.r.t an initial position by a control unit (48) in its de-clutching course, the initial position of the regulation member being defined by an initial position corresponding to the control unit at the end of the initial course of clutching. |
