<p>The invention relates to an electronic device adapted to be used in connection with an external device and to receive from a connected external device a code identifying such external device. The electronic device is adapted to store, when connected to an external device, an identification code identifying said connected external device, and maintaining said stored identification code after disconnection of said external device. The invention further relates to a method of determining the cause of an error in an electronic device of the above mentioned type. The method is characterized in storing in said electronic device, when connected to an external device, an identification code identifying said external device, maintaining said stored identification code after disconnection of said external device, and analysing said stored identification code when an error has been detected.</p> |
