<p>Furniture for a computer comprises a lower storage region (14) for a system unit and peripherals and an upper storage region (16) for a computer monitor and keyboard. The lower storage region (14) is defined between a pair of vertical sidewalls (2, 4), a horizontal base (6) and a horizontal shelf (10). The upper storage region (16) is defined between sidewalls (2, 4), the horizontal shelf (10), and a cover (24). The cover (24), when closed, covers at least the front of the upper storage region (16). Moreover, the cover (24), when closed, extends upwardly and rearwardly at the front of the upper storage region (16) to resemble a conventional writing bureau.</p> |
