PURPOSE:To perform high-quality printing with high speeds by a method in which after a motor to drive a type wheel reaches a stop region, the motor is driven and stopped by means of the composite signal consisting of signal of 1/4 period of analog signal from the motor and signal obtained by shifting the phase of the analog signal. CONSTITUTION:Until a type to be desirebly printed reaches a stop region, a type wheel 3 is turned or a motor 5 to move a carriage is driven by a digital-analog conversion signal. Then, after the stop region is reached, the motor 5 is driven or stopped by the composite signal consisting of the signal of 1/4 period of analog signal from the motor 5 and the signal obtained by shifting the phase of the analog signal. |
