The heat from a Stirling motor is used to evaporate water from a tank within the motor expansion tank. The effect is to increase the degree of expansion and thus the air pressure emerging from the expansion tank. This in turn speeds up the generator shaft and increases the current output. Water addition is kept within acceptable limits so as to eliminate any cooling tendency which could impair expansion results and power generation.
