The continuous mitre gear has a set of centrifugal weights (3) that increase the spacing from the drive axis, following centrifugal force, to move the controlled bevel gear (4) of the drive shaft (2) axially to the fixed bevel gear, either directly or through adjustment components (6,7). The set of weights are held by springs (8) in the output position until the rpm number exceeds the lowest rpm number that can produce a torque. The springs are tensioned by an external adjustment components until the centrifugal weights are released from their rest position when the maximum rpm number is approached.
