The invention is concerned with a method of delivering information to one or more user terminals in one or more communication networks. Query messages are received from said user terminals, which are converted to a suitable form for further processing. The messages are processed in accordance with their content, the information requested in them is fetched, the information data is processed and replies are constructed. The replies are sent to the user terminals when they have been converted to a form suitable for the network of the user terminals. The fetched information data is processed into a suitable delivery format for the user terminal that receives the reply, e.g. converted into a more suitable display format.
