Ball joint has a sliding shell to guarantee a secure function. Ball joint has a sliding shell (2) having a slit (2.2) which guarantees the swelling of the sliding shell (2.1) to insert the ball (3) of the ball pin (4) through opening (2.1) and the spring back of the sliding shell (2) to the starting position. The slit (2.2) extends from the opening (2.1) to the opposite pole position (2.3) of the sliding shell (2). The shell (2) is divided into two halves (2a, 2b) to enclose the ball (3). Hook-like knubs (2.5) are arranged on the outer wall (2.4) of the shell (2). The opening (2.1) of the pole region (2.3) of the shell (2) has a crown (2.8). The housing (1) has a recess (1.5) connected to a hollow space (1.1) and injected material is anchored in the recess.
