PURPOSE: To provide a method for cultivating a sprout vegetable for culturing a sprout vegetable without multiplication of microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: A cultivating container 8 is placed on an elevator 7, the elevator 7 is lifted and a high-temperature water tank 2 is put in the cultivating container 8. In this state, a high-temperature water valve 3 of the high-temperature water tank 2 is opened and high-temperature water at 98-100 deg.C is put in the cultivating container 8. In this state, the cultivating container is kept for 15-60 seconds, a drain stopper 9 is opened and the high-temperature water in the cultivating container 8 is discharged. Seeds of a sprout vegetable are put in the cultivating container 8 thus sterilized to cultivate a sprout vegetable without multiplication of microorganism. |
