Valve connector activation pin for use with Schrader valve moved by air operated piston

A tire inflation valve connector is provided with an activating pin 12 that can be moved by a piston 304 working in a cylinder 303 from a proximal position to a distal position in which the pin bears on the head of a core pin of the valve to depress the core pin. The piston is driven downward when pressure is applied to the cylinder from the tire inflation pressure source and only when the activating pin is forced to the distal position can the pressurized air flow from the pressure source, through the cylinder of the connector and the passages 309, 310 in the activating pin and into the tire valve around the sides of the pin.
