A central plug section (22) extending through the wheel hub (16) from the distal end has a bearing aperture (28) to accommodate the axle. The proximal end of the section has flexible locking parts (42). A ring element (44) on the proximal end of the hub is fastened non-turnable to the wheel (14), and axially non-moveable to the locking parts. Roller bearings (56) are located on the proximal end section (54) and distal end section (52) of the hub, between it and the central plug section. The wheel hub is of plastic and has integral wheel spokes (18) connected to a wheel rim.
