PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy clogging preventing mechanism that prevents ink from being used wastefully and an ink jet head from being damaged. SOLUTION: An ink jet head has an ink chamber filled with ink and a nozzle plate 1. In this case, a voltage applying circuit 8 is connected to the nozzle plate 1 to which voltage can be applied to apply voltage to the nozzle plate 1 to keep away a charged ink component causing clogging from the vicinity of a nozzle 9 or to vibrate the same to prevent clogging. |
