PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which needs no mechanical drive element, in which no failure takes place, which has a long service life and can photograph an object totally without a dead angle with respect to a desired area. SOLUTION: A support base 10 is formed to be a triangle pole, and a CCD image pickup element 20 is placed on each of four faces 10B-10E except the upper face 10A. The chip of this CCD image pickup element 20 is obtained by cutting a wafer and is fixed to each of the four faces 10B-10E by using silver paste or the like. A signal processing IC is provided in the support base 10. A connector section 30 including a connection terminal 32 is provided to the upper face 10A of the support base 10 and coupled with a connector of a bracket. The four CCD image pickup elements 20 are used to photograph the entire area except the upper area of the support base 10 and display the photographed video image on a monitor.
