PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dehydrate garbage discharged from a kitchen by using a motor- driven rotating motor based on the principle of centrifugal force. SOLUTION: A garbage receiving basket 6 in a drain outlet of a sink combined in a drain cylinder 1 is connected with a high speed rotating electric motor 8 and the garbage receiving basket 6 is rotated by rotating the motor 8. Only water is separated from the garbage stored in the receiving basket in the drain outlet by action of this centrifugal force. Then, the motor is stopped and, when the garbage basket is pulled out, the garbage basket comes out of a pin 7 and treatment of the garbage can be performed.
