PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device provided with a remote controller by which the display screen of a main body can be turned to a direction from which the screen can be comfortably watched by the remote controller mounted on the main body even when the way of placing the main body is changed. SOLUTION: The remote controller 40 for remote control can be contained in either of two remote controller container sections 37, 41 provided to the upper face and the side face of an image display device 20, respectively. The remote controller container sections 37, 41 are respectively provided with reception sections 38, 42 to attain communication with the remote controller 40.
