<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set option units freely in terms of combinations and orders to a printer connection by transmitting signals from a communication means to the printer via a first connector without transmitting signals to the other option units via a second connector. SOLUTION: A central controller 101, a paper deck controller 102 and a sorter controller 103 are connected by option unit interfaces 70 mutually connected by first connectors 71a and 71b anal second connectors 72a and 72b. A communication means transmits and receives signals by second connectors 72a and 72b to the other option units connected detachably to a printer. A feedback path is formed so that signals can be transmitted to the printer via the first connectors 71a and 71b without transmitting the signals to the other option units via the second connectors 72a and 72b.</p> |
