PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector capable of efficiently butting and connecting optical fibers regardless of the difference of the length of the optical fibers of a multiple optical coated fiber side. SOLUTION: In an optical connector 50, the curved part 53a which is formed in the middle part of a ferrule side optical fiber 53 is housed in a curved part housing recessed part 62 which is formed in the middle part of the distance for the butting and connecting position between the optical fiber 53 of an optical connector ferrule 51 side and the optical fiber 59a at the tip end of a multiple optical coated fiber 59 to the joining end surface 51a of the optical connector ferrule 51. Thus, the error of the cutting and aligning length of the optical fiber 59 can be absorbed.
