PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely announce ingredient inputting time according to a desire of a user by setting time for inputting ingredients cooked together with rice by an input means, and announcing the ingredient inputting time by an announcing means when judging the fact of becoming this preset ingredient inputting time by a control means. SOLUTION: A rice cooker 1 is composed of a cooker body 3 for housing an inner iron pot 2, an induction heating coil 4 being a heating means, a temperature sensor 5 being a temperature detecting means, a cover body 6, a temperature sensor 7 for the cover body and a control means mounted with a microcomputer 27. The control means performs heat reserving processing through respective processes of preheating, rice cooking and steaming on the basis of a stored program. In this case, in the case where a user selects a menu for inputting ingredients such as boiled seasoned rice and cooked red bean rice, when becoming preset ingredient inputting time, it is announced to the user by using a piezoelectric buzzer being an announcing means arranged on a base board. A sound outputted from this piezoelectric buzzer can be outputted according to a kind and the preset sound volume set by the user.
