PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively print many kinds of print patterns even in a small lot on a circularly knitting state extensible/contractible closet seat cover particularly formed as a product or a semifinished item by dye-printing the print pattern on a pile-like outside surface of a cover body on templates after extending and setting extensible/contracible cloth on the templates. SOLUTION: In a print device, a large number of templates 6 are installed on the outer periphery of a turnable by a rear end support piece 8 so that their upper surfaces 6a become an upward attitude. When installing a closet seat cover 2 on the templates 6, this is hookingly fastened similarly to installing time to a closet seat 1. That is, a pile-like outside surface 10 in a cover body 3 is finally set on the upper surfaces 6a of the templates 6 so that this is positioned on the upper surface outside. Afterwards, a print pattern 7 is printed on the outside surface 10 by repeating a dye-printing process by a colored discharge printing method and a heating drying process by a heater in order according to the using color number while intermittently turning the templates 6.
