PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability by a user, to simplify the operation and to reduce entry mistakes. SOLUTION: A facsimile terminal 1 is provided with a storage device 28 that stores a box number to respectively designate each box of a server 2 and a job dial 213 by which a user selects a desired box number among stored box numbers. The server 2 is connected to the facsimile terminal 1 via a line network 21, stores image information in cross-reference with a plurality of boxes and transmits image information of a box designated by a box number selected by the facsimile terminal 1 to the facsimile terminal. Thus, the user has only to select a desired box number by using the job dial 213 to allow the server 2 to send desired information to the facsimile terminal 1.
