PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction method and its device for realizing smooth transaction by improving the operating method of an automatic transaction device for dealing with cash, and discriminating normal transaction from pseudo transaction at the time of preservation, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: When a door 7 of an automatic transaction device 1 is opened, money payment and reception in a cash collecting mechanism part 6 is stopped, and when the door is closed, a password is inputted, and when it is made coincident with a preliminarily registered password, the money payment and reception in the cash collecting mechanism part 6 is resumed.
