PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dew condensation-preventing and antibacterial and antifungal coating material composition capable of forming a coating film excellent in both of dew condensation-preventing action and antibacterial and antifungal action. SOLUTION: This coating material composition has an aqueous coating film-forming material and sepiolite constituting main components and an antimicrobial and antifungal agent comprising an antifungal agent and an antibacterial agent. The composition exhibits higher dew condensation-preventing action, because the sepiolite has moisture-releasing property higher than zeolite in conventional technique and has smaller moisture-retaining property in the air having low humidity, while the sepiolite has higher hygroscopic property in the air having high relative humidity. Further, the composition exhibits high antibacterial and antifungal actions by action of antibacterial and antifungal agent. Since the composition has small moisture retention in the air having low humidity, higher antibacterial and antifungal actions are kept over a long period.
