PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven mop which allows even housewives to easily clean high daylighting window panes from a floor surface without using a stepladder or ladder. SOLUTION: The mop of this invention comprises a long handle bar 1 comprising at least two or more pipes telescopically combined so that they can engage each other to fix only their lengths under a condition in which they are prevented from rotating relatively to each other; a motor holder 4 mounted at the end of the handle bar 1 in such a way as to be rotatable about an axis 2 perpendicular to the axis of the handle bar, and having a motor 3 therein; a fixing means 5 for fixing the motor holder 4 at a desired angle; a cleaner such as a mop 7 freely removably attached to the rotating shaft 3a of the motor 3; and an illuminating lamp 13 such as a light-emitting diode installed on the outer surface of the motor holder 4. A power cord 8 for connection with a power supply is connected to the motor 3.
