PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to hold a plurality of optical fibers in the state of allowing the easy handling thereof with good space efficiency. SOLUTION: The optical fiber holder 1 has a fiber holding part 6 having a slit 13 for integrally housing a plurality of the optical fiber therein, a fiber receiving surface 9 for clamping the optical fibers housed in the slit 13 from laterally, an elastic member 2 and a mounting mechanism 7 to another object. The optical fiber holder also has frames 3, 4 and 5 into which a plurality of the optical fiber are inserted and an opening/closing mechanism 11 which opens and closes these frames in a direction for opening the slit.
