PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic capable of increasing the responsiveness of cytokine existing in the organism, activating the responsiveness of cytokine lowered due to aging and the like, or capable of curing disorders caused by cytokine decrease by including a specific ethanolamine derivative or its salt. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by including (A) an ethanolamine derivative of the formula [R1 is H, CH3, CH2CH(CH3)OH, or CH2CH2OH; R2 is H, CH3, CH2CH3, or COOH; R3 is H, CH3, CH2CH3, or CH2NH2] (e.g. N- methyl-L-serine), or its salt. It is possible to make the above-mentioned cosmetic according to its use into a composition of one of various kinds of preparations such as solid preparation and semisolid preparation by formulating usually used and well-known ingredients such as vaseline and/or stearyl alcohol. The content of the ingredient A is preferably 0.0001-2 wt.% based on the whole composition to be applied. |
