PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp device possible to be miniaturized and capable of suppressing uneven luminance and deterioration of a holder. SOLUTION: This device 10 is equipped with an envelope 15 provided with a cover 12 having a base 11 and a globe 14, a holder 16 stored in this envelope 15, a lighting circuit 17 and an light tube 18. The envelope 15 has a height H1 of not less than 125 mm and not more than 145 mm including the base 11. The tube 18 has an inner diameter of not less than 6 mm and not more than 9 mm, a discharge length of not less than 400 mm and not more than 500 mm and a lamp power of not less than 16 W and not more than 23 W. Since the miniaturized tube 18 having a small volume is disposed so as to have a vertically bigger size, its heat capacity is suppressed, the device 10 is miniaturized to form nearly an incandescent lamp shape, and it can be more widely applied to luminaries. Brightness of not less than 1000 lm and not more than 1600 lm equivalent to that of an incandescent lamp of not less than 80 W and not more than 100 W can be materialized, in order to achieve power saving. |
