PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise moving apparatus that can be installed and removed in a single operation and can be positioned only where and when necessary to reduce losses, while utilizing a merchandise display that has a merchandise display bar in widespread use. SOLUTION: This merchandise moving apparatus 1 comprises: a base part 2; guide means 3 fixed to the base part and extended above a merchandise display bar B3 toward the front face of a merchandise display rack in an approximately parallel relation with the merchandise display bar B3; an operating rod 4 mounted in such a way as to be slidable in a parallel relation with the merchandise display bar B3 as it is guided by the guide means 3; and a merchandise moving member 5 fixed to the operating rod 4 and projected downward in a manner that enables merchandise G hung on the merchandise display bar B3 to be moved by the sliding motion of the operating rod 4. The base part 2 can be removably attached to a merchandise display B1 and an operator can move the merchandise G to the front face of the merchandise display rack simply by pulling the operating rod 4.
