SOLUTION: In this device for operating a paddy working machine, a steering clutch operation mechanism Z which reversibly puts off the clutch inside of turning out of lateral steering clutches 96 for putting on and off a transmission to each of lateral rear drive wheels depending on a steering action larger than the predetermined angle from a straight driving state of steering drive wheels 1, a main clutch 50 for putting on and off a transmission to a traveling unit and a paddy working device, a travelling brake 99 and a main clutch brake pedal CBP capable of reversibly putting off the main clutch 50 and reversibly braking the travelling brake are installed.
