A low cost temperature sensing device using a single p-n junction as the temperature sensing element and incorporating non-volatile memory for storing the calibration data along with the sensor element. The non-volatile memory enables the field interchangeability of the temperature sensor element. A special circuit arrangement enables the selective operation of either the sensor or the non-volatile memory using only a single pair of lines. |
