摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make applicable sufficient electrification voltage to a body to be electrified because of a high injection speed, to make keepable resisting properties to the fluctuations of the environment in such as humidity and to make reducible the fluctuation of the electrification voltage even in a long term use by providing carbon nanotubes on the surface in contact with the body to be electrified. SOLUTION: An electrifying brush 110 comes into contact with the surface of a photoreceptor 100 being a body to be electrified mainly through the nanotubes 120. An electric charge can be directly injected to an organic photosensitive layer 102 from the carbon nanotubes 120. In comparison with a conventional brush whose electrically conductive fibers 112 consist of fibers obtained by etching or dividing fibers, the area where the charge is exchanged between the organic photosensitive layer 102 and the electrifying brush 110 i.e., the substantial contact area of the layer 102 with the brush 110 is remarkably enlarged. As a result, the injection speed of the charge can be accelerated so that the sufficient electrification voltage can be obtained even in a high-speed image recorder.
