PURPOSE: Production process of carrier for treating contamination is provided which mixes thermoplastic resin, celluloses materials and ceramic materials so that it produces an excellent carrier in terms of strength and porosity. CONSTITUTION: The production process of carrier for treating contamination biologically comprises the steps of: (i) mixing 15-85wt% of thermoplastic resin, 2-70wt% of celluloses materials, 2-70wt% of ceramic materials and 0-10wt% of a foaming agent and a compatibiliser as an arbitrary component, melting, extruding and molding; and (ii) foaming, cooling and cutting the extruded materials at atmospheric pressure. Wherein the thermoplastic resin is selected from groups which are consisted of polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinylchloride, ABS resin and compounds thereof.
