PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet which is capable of completely erasing detection marks by heating and pressurizing at the time of image formation with a copying machine or printer of an electrophotographic system or thermal transfer system of high-speed processing when the image is formed with such machine or printer. SOLUTION: The detection marks of the image receiving sheet having opaque detection marks consist of an ink component containing a coloration compound, a color developing agent and a decoloring agent. The detection marks are brought into a color development state by the detection of the coloration compound and the color developing agent before the image formation, and the detection of a paper jam or detection of the front or rear side of the paper and the detection of the printing position registration of the respective colors by a photosensor are made possible. On the other hand, the ink composition is melted by the heating and pressurizing at the time of the image formation in the above-mentioned three components of the detection marks after the image formation. The decoloring agent preferentially dissolves either of the color developing agent and the coloration compound and stops the color development by the interaction of the coloration compound and the color developing agent. The detection marks are then clarified and are completely erased. |
