PURPOSE: An apparatus for converting the feeding direction of water in a washing machine is provided to easily and completely convert the feeding direction of wafer by using a movable water feeding pipe. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for converting the feeding direction of water comprises a water feeding direction converting device(40). The water feeding direction converting device(40) guides the water into a washing duct(211) or a dehydrating duct(212). The water feeding direction converting device(40) includes a movable water feeding pipe(41) one end of which is coupled to a fixed water feeding pipe(31) and the other end of which is connected to the washing duct(211) or the dehydrating duct(212). A slide plate(42) is connected to one end of the movable water feeding pipe(31). A converting lever(423) is provided on the slide plate(42). The slide plate(42) is elastically supported by an elastic member(43).
