PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress contradiction among physiologic factors for stereoscopic vision by independently changing luminance of right and left parallax images of a display object displayed on a plurality of display screens respectively for each screen. SOLUTION: A left eye parallax image GL of a parallax image of a three- dimensional object is displayed on planes 101, 102 as two-dimensional images 1L5, 1L6 and a right eye parallax image GR is displayed as two-dimensional images 1R5, 1R6. The two-dimensional images 1L5, 1L6, 1R5, 1R6 displayed on the planes 101, 102 are overlapped when viewing them from a left eye or a right eye of a viewer 100. The left eye of the viewer 100 sees only the left two-dimensional images 1L5, 1L6 generated from the left parallax image GL and the right eye sees only the right two-dimensional images 1R5, 1R6 generated from the right parallax image GR. While keeping relative luminance viewed from the viewer 100 constant, each luminance of the two-dimensional images is changed corresponding to a depth position corresponding to the parallax of the three-dimensional object. |
