PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable phone capable of displaying many functions the function of which can be easily selected by even an unskillful user for clicking icons so as to enhance the operability. SOLUTION: In this portable phone, a ROM 4 is provided with guidance display data in characters corresponding to icons denoting functions and with a function correspondence table that stores icons, guidance data and function programs corresponding to the icons while making them correspond to each other. A CPU 2 refers to the function correspondence table to output guidance display data corresponding to an icon selected by a cursor among displayed icons to an LCD driver 5 and an LCD 6 displays the guidance. |
