PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a comprehensive medical information management system which improves the efficiency of the entire system by linking reports generated from individual departments with electronic patient's charts to comprehensively handle them. SOLUTION: When a report like observation input of a department of radiology is sent from a medical department sub-system of a medical department in a computer network to a print image file management server 9 as a file 6 of print images to which a file name provided with a patient discrimination code and a division code indicating a category of medical treatment is added, the server 9 decodes the patient discrimination code of the file name to specify a patient's chart folder 5 from a patient's chart file server 4 and sends the report to a folder, which has been generated in accordance with the division code, in the patient's chart folder. |
