MARKER FOR IDENTIFYING WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the work to mount markers to wires as the markers for wire identification to be mounted on the bundled wire for the purpose of individual identification of the wires. SOLUTION: This marker consists of two members and each marker has a smooth identification symbol display surface 1 on its outer flank. Also, each member has a groove 2 of a cross-sectional semicircular diameter for housing and holding the wire in its inner flank, projecting parts 3 and recessed parts 4. The projecting parts 3 and the recessed parts 4 are respectively arranged by one each on both sides of the groove 2 along the groove 2. The projecting parts and the recessed parts exist at the angle parts of a rectangular shape formed by these parts. The projecting parts and the recessed parts exist at opposite positions with each other and the groove 2 exists on the side of the rectangular shape so as to bisect the rectangular shape. The inner flanks of the two members are mated to face each other to hold the wire and the projecting parts are press fitted into the recessed parts to integrate the two members, by which the marker is mounted on the wire.
