摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conform oscillation wavelength of a semiconductor laser for stimulation to the absorption wavelength of a solid-state laser medium, and besides, and obtain maximum wavelength conversion efficiency, when converting the wavelength of the oscillation beam with a light wavelength converting element arranged with a resonator. SOLUTION: This solid-state laser is equipped with a solid-state laser medium 13, a semiconductor laser 11, which generates a stimulation light 10 for this solid-state laser medium 13, a resonator which includes a wavelength converting element 16 inside, a first metal block 20 which retains the semiconductor laser 11, a second metal block 21 which retains the solid medium 13 and the resonator, a support 30 which fixes these two metal blocks 20 and 21, and a temperature control element 31 which controls the temperature of the second metal block 21 to a prescribed value via this support 30. In this case, a heat generating element or a heat-absorbing element 41 is connected to the first metal block 20, and this first metal block 20 is fixed to the support 30 via a member 40 which is lower in thermal conductivity composed to it.
