PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use a buffer by reading matched data in plural pieces of data out of a buffer storage means before reading the remaining data from a storage device into the buffer storage means. SOLUTION: A block processing order determining module 55 detects data matched with the data stored in a disk buffer 53 out of plural pieces of data. Concerning the reading order of these matched data and the remaining data requested in a processing request, the matched data are made into first and the remaining data are made later. Before reading the remaining data from a disk device 6 into the disk buffer 53, according to the reading order determined like this, the matched data are read out of the disk buffer 53. Thus, even when plural inquiry processing tasks 4a and 4b access a mass data base file at the same time, the buffer can be efficiently used.
