PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency of a magnet generator having a regulator. SOLUTION: A regulator 21 is attached to the inside of a recess 20g, formed in the end wall 20c of an end cover 20 fixed to a stator frame which supports a stator and a magnet rotor. A number of aeration holes 20f are formed in the end wall 20c of the end cover 20 and an air flow from the aeration holes 20f to the outside through the inside of the end cover 20, and the inside of the magnet rotor is generated by a cooling fan attached to the magnet rotor. Power generating coils and the regulator 21 are cooled by the air flow. Grooves 20h and 20i are formed in the inner surfaces of the aeration holes 20f and in the outer surface of the circumferential wall 20a of the end cover 20, to increase the heat radiation area of the end cover 20, so that the cooling efficiency of the regulator can be enhanced.
