PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which can prevent the error action of an instantaneous lighting. SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises a driving circuit 20, a driving control circuit 40, a power supply circuit 30. The power supply circuit 30 is supplied the first power supply potential VDD which is a ground potential and the second power supply potential VSS which is except for the ground potential from an outside power supply. The power supply circuit 30 comprises a booster circuit 35 which boosts the absolute value of the second power supply potential VSS and charges the capacity, and bias generating circuits 36, 37 which generate a potential supplied to the driving circuit 20 and the driving control circuit 40 based on an output potential of the booster circuit 35. The driving circuit 20 is supplied the first power supply potential VDD and the potential from the bias generating circuits 36, 37. The driving circuit 20 outputs the potential selected from the supplied potentials V0-V5 according to the control of the driving control circuit when the power supply is normal, and turns on a P type MOS transistor and compulsorily sets up all potentials outputted from the driving circuit 20 to the first power supply potential VDD based on a LOW active signal from a buffer when the absolute value between the first and second power supply potentials VDD, VSS is below the prescribed value.
