PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an optional item from a retrieval result list en block and to receive a selected document by means of optional terminal equipment afterwards en block. SOLUTION: This retrieval information distributing device is provided with a check box for selecting the optional item from the retrieval result list which is displayed on terminal equipment. The list of the selected item is transmitted from terminal equipment to a server device, the server device collects document data with respect to the requested item and the collected document data is temporarily preserved in a recording device which is connected to the server device. The preserved document is distributed to terminal equipment through the use of an E-mail or the protocol of HTTP or FTP.
