PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intrusion of water drops to the inside of an electronic appliance by providing a waterproof mechanism in the gap between an antenna cap and a cylindrical mold and in the gap between the support of an element and the element so as to keep antenna supporting force. SOLUTION: In order to house an antenna 10, a cylindrical mold 20 is provided in the housing of an electronic appliance main body. An insertion hole 22 for an element 12 is provided on the mold 20. The diameter of the bottom surface 24 of a cap 14 is formed larger than that of the hole 22 and at the time of inserting a fit-through part 16 through to the hole 22, an end face on the side of the cap of the mold 20 is abutted on the surface 24 to prevent the intrusion of water from the gap between the cap 14 and the mold 20. In addition, the part 16 is provided with elasticity and inserted to the hole 22 to closely adhere the inner end face of the mold 20 to the outer periphery of the part 16 to improve waterproof effect. A elastomer material which is a polymer of elastic material and is excellent in thermoplasticity is used for the part 16 to facilitate manufacture and molding and to improve manufacturability.
